THOMAS E. FERRELL, A.I.A. EDUCATION Bachelor of Architecture University of Texas, 1972 REGISTRATION 1975 Registered Architect, Texas #5793 A Corpus Christi native, Mr. Ferrell has practiced architecture in our city since his graduation from college in 1972. After a long professional relationship with Needham B. Smyth & Associates, Mr. Ferrell organized Ferrell/Brown & Associates, Inc. in 1984, with David Brown as his partner. Mr. Ferrell’s responsibilities in the firm include marketing and project management, as well as research, programming, conceptual design, construction documents and construction administration. As President of the corporation, he is responsible for maintaining its positive economic posture and respected business practice. His production responsibilities include development of cost control, as well as quality control procedures and policies used internally by the firm. He is currently integrating computer-aided design capabilities into the production fabric of the organization. Mr. Ferrell served as a past President of the Corpus Christi Chapter of AIA. He is equally active in community organizations and is an alumnus of Leadership Corpus Christi, Class VIII. He is active in his church having served as Chairman of the Leadership Team. He is also an active member and Director for the Del Mar Kiwanis as well as Past President, and is past lay director for the Walk To Emmaus.

DAVID DOYLE BROWN, A.I.A. EDUCATION
 Bachelor of Architecture with Highest Honors University of Texas, 1973 REGISTRATION 1977 Registered Architect, Texas #6288 1988 Certified Asbestos Inspector/Manager, Texas #452-96-7402 Mr. Brown’s primary responsibilities with Ferrell/Brown & Associates are in the areas of marketing, design and project management. Mr. Brown’s production responsibilities within the firm are in the areas of design development, and project planning and management. In support of these efforts, he actively pursues continued professional education, having recently participated in seminars on windstorm insurance (CATPOOL), construction law and model building code development. He has been certified by the State as an inspector and management planner for asbestos in buildings. He is active in professional and community organizations. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Corpus Christi Heritage Society and the Friends of the Corpus Christi Museum. He also serves on the City of Corpus Christi’s Landmark Historical Commission. He is past President of the Corpus Christi Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and is a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi, Class XIX. He is a member of the Corpus Christi Rotary Club. He is active in his church and has served the Diocese of Corpus Christi as a member of the Board of Education. He is also active in youth activities including Youth Soccer and Boy Scouts of America.
